End User License Agreement

Simple terms for using AdFade.

Please read this short agreement before installing or using the extension. By proceeding you accept these terms.

License grant

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to install and use AdFade on any Chrome profile you control. The code and all intellectual property remain owned by AdFade.

Acceptable use

You may not reverse engineer, resell, or distribute AdFade without written permission, nor may you use it to violate any applicable law or infringe another party’s rights.

Automatic updates

AdFade may update automatically to maintain compatibility and improve blocking rules. By continuing to use the extension you consent to receiving these updates.

No warranties

AdFade is provided “as is” without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Website compatibility

While we test extensively, we are not responsible if a site fails to load or behaves unexpectedly when AdFade is enabled. You can always whitelist any site in the extension menu if needed.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AdFade will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use or inability to use the extension.

Freeware

AdFade stays free thanks to our search partners. When you install the extension, your default search provider and search queries might be switch to one of these partners search engines. This keeps the app funded so we can keep blocking ads and shipping improvements.
